Chinese New Year Day 7

GREETINGGGGGGGGGS,

fellow earthlings who somehow ended up on this website.

As my memory isn't SUPER clear on this particular day (but no doubts I had fun), I'm going to try to put it in writing before my memory of this day continue to fade.

I woke up at 10:30? 11? in the morning horrified that I had so little time left to prepare, for our house-visiting, I rushed through everything and got dressed. I remember being in a dilemma on whether I should put on that crop top I purchased for CNY. As I knew that I hardly go out, and I'd probably never wear it if I don't wear it now, I hastily put it on and moved along.

My mom fetched me to Shu Ling's house and that was our first stop. They gambled, I didn't take part since I don't gamble, I've never gambled before and neither do I want to. Although, many of them DID offer to teach me. I got the hang of it but still refused to.

Then we walked to Chong Jin Wei's house and continued to gamble. I sat in a smaller circle with Jie Yin, Kai Heng, Xin Kai, Wang Jin, Shu Ling, Sze Nee and Jarod. THIS CIRCLE is the play-for-fun circle. Which means they're not gambling hahaha. They did teach me this other type of poker or whatever it's called but I didn't get myself SO into it to understand and start playing with them.

Next, we walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus for almost an hour. I REMEMBER THE SUN BEING BLAZING HOT. I sat with Sze Nee on the bus and we got off and started towards Sue Ann's house. When we got there, they continued to gamble and I just watched TV with the rest of them who aren't so interested in gambling. After a while, some of us sat Mige and Mie's car to their house.

At their house, their eldest sister taught me how to play mahjong (I've ALWAYS wanted to learn how to play) and I was SO into it. I played many games and won many rounds. I still wasn't gambling since all of us, who took part in this game, were basically beginners.

We later walked to Jia Yie's house as all Botanic houses are connected to the main park. So we walked from that main park. Entering her housing area, I instantly knew that was Nelson's (our classmate) house. Since he was in my ride home at one point. Nelson's house which meant it's our BM teacher's house. And coincidentally, our BM teacher was outside watering the plants hahahaha. We merrily greeted him and ran to Jia Yie's house as it began to rain. There, many of them were circling around the grand piano. But most of them continued to gamble, how typical hahahaha. I just watched shows on my phone on the couch with they rest of them sitting there watching TV and conversing.

We then sat Chong Jin Wei's van back to his house (and I coincidentally sat with Sze Nee again) and took the rest of the barbecue supplies and food and headed towards Ah Kent's house for our dinner. Which was barbecue. I mostly helped around with the food, helping them to roast the chicken and all that stuff. It was really fun. I had loadssss of fun.

They also continued their gambling, tsk. And Chin Kai Heng got SUPER drunk. Like his face was all red.

Later, Kai Heng, Jia Yie, Shu Ling, Jie Yin and I started discussing about the future of our English oral test whilst waiting for our respective parents to arrive to fetch us home.

P.s. I left out a ton of unnecessary but entertaining events as they are too minor and irrelevant in this context hahaha.
